Welcome to Summer Studio, Beit Leem's Art Summer Camp!

Step into a vibrant, creative arts camp this July at Beit Leem in Pardes Hana! We will explore personal expression, balanced structured technical art guidance and playfulness. Children will discover how to connect an initial idea to an image and raw material, they will explore through experimentation and learning through mistakes. Our goal is to help campers build genuine self-confidence, original thinking skills, and a deep, lifelong love for the arts.

Weekly Themes

  • Week 1 | The Studio and Me: A deep dive into identity and personal expression through self-portraits, custom imagery, and personal objects.

  • Week 2 | Material, Experiment, and Play: Breaking the rules of art by working with diverse mediums, deconstructing, rebuilding, and finding beauty in the process.

  • Week 3 | Imagination Lab: Blending physical art-making with guided imagery and discovery exercises to unlock completely unexpected paths of inspiration.

  • Week 4 | A New Perspective: Training the eye to look closely at the world around us, discovering hidden details, rich colors, and concepts right under our noses.

What To Expect

Every day brings an inspiring blend of workshops, collaborative group projects, and free exploration. Campers will jump between ancient crafts and futuristic designs, handling everything from wet felting, weaving, and sewing custom brush cases to making their own prints. The children will have dedicated independent stations for free painting, collaging, and art books. At the end of the month, we will open the studio doors to families and the community for a mini-exhibition curated by the kids themselves!
