Ikebana Flower Arrangement - Capturing Nature In a Vessel

₪320.00Price

Date: Friday June 12th | 10:00 - 12:00

Materials: Provided

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of floral arrangement, rooted in minimalism, balance, and a deep connection to the natural world. More than just a way to arrange flowers, it’s an invitation to slow down, find stillness, and create from a place of presence.

In this workshop, we’ll blend the foundations of Ikebana with a local perspective, drawing inspiration from the unique textures and seasons of the Israeli landscape. You’ll learn the core techniques and apply them through a hands-on process - from selecting your materials to crafting a personal arrangement to take home with you.

Shahar Kukawka began her art career in interior design and visual aesthetic, and eventually made a shift toward a lifelong passion - the world of plants, flowers, and floral design. Her love for fine details, precision, and color has remained with her, now finding a more vivid expression that connects with people in their everyday lives. Today, she creates using local natural materials, bringing her unique perspective to floral design, one that weaves together structure, emotion, and presence.
