A weekly drawing course teaching the foundations of classical drawing through working with still life.

The course is structured as a guided process, providing participants with a solid professional foundation for independent work, with an emphasis on developing an observant eye and the ability to construct drawings through careful observation rather than guesswork.

About the Instructor

Chen Fuchs is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in drawing, oil painting, ceramics, and tattoo art. At the heart of her practice is a deep attention to line and structure, which she sees as the foundation of all visual expression.

Her work is rooted in daily, hands-on engagement with materials, where precision, observation, and composition are continuously explored and refined. This approach naturally extends into her teaching.

Chen brings a thoughtful, process-oriented perspective to her classes, encouraging a slower, more attentive way of seeing and creating. She emphasizes building strong foundations as a lasting tool, supporting both artists and beginners in developing their eye, confidence, and personal way of working.
