
Photography Basics Course: Acquisition of Photography Tools, Editing, and Building a Digital Album

The course is intended for adults who are interested in improving their photography skills and deepening their understanding of the technical aspects. The course builds a process from the basics – composition, lighting, and color – to the principles of selection, editing, and preparation for printing. Participants will receive tools to independently build a digital photo album, for use on platforms such as Lupe.
If participants do not have laptops, the album itself will be built independently at home.

Moderator: Maya Zahavi, (b. 1982, Ein Harod) is a visual artist and photographer working in Tel Aviv. She graduated with a BA in Art from the Midrasha, Beit Berl (2016), and a MA in Art from Bezalel (2022), both with honors. Her works have been exhibited in galleries in Israel and abroad, including 19 Hayarkon, Atelier Shemi, Gallery 8P, and Gallery Indie. Alongside her artistic work, she has curated numerous exhibitions, and has been teaching photography and Photoshop and conducting workshops for diverse audiences for over a decade.
